Due to personal reason, bassist J.S. Baciu has decided to leave Jonas & The Massive Attraction and the rigours of the road.
“It’s been an AMAZING journey over the last several years with our brother J.S. rockin’ the bottom end as one of the pillars of Jonas & The Massive Attraction” say Jonas. “We’ll miss J.S. big time not only musically but as our constant companion and friend on the road. We wish him all the best and look forward to our continued friendship.”
“Over the last 6 years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing a great musical journey with my two brothers, Jonas and Corey. I’ve travelled to places that I would’ve never seen had I not been surrounded by you guys. Over the years I’ve met so many great people and played on amazing stages around the world. Some of the highlights are burned into my memories forever and I will cherish these for the rest of my life. Going to Afghanistan, touring with Deep Purple, opening for Styx for 80 000 people, hanging with Kid Rock. These memories are only a few compared to the other ones I have in my heart. Over the past 2 years, I’ve been faced with difficult life events which has forced me to make a decision. I realized the only way I could attend to such events was to leave the bass position open. I thank everyone who has made the journey incredible. And to my brothers, Jonas, Corey, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, musicality, support and understanding. It was always an honour to share the stage and the road with you guys. Perhaps we’ll share it again in the future. Much love!!!” XXX -J.S. Baciu
A new bass player for the band will be announced shortly.
